AUTHORITIES — As part of our commitment to safety and professionalism, Southern Pines Trucking has achieved important certifications in many areas:

• General Authorities – Southern Pines Trucking holds common, contract, and broker authority, issued by the U.S. DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
   
• Hazmat Certification – We maintain a strong commitment to safety. As an integral part of this commitment, our drivers are required to have the latest hazmat certifications and endorsements, in addition to the certificate issued by the U.S. DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
   
• State-Specific Hazmat Authorities – Southern Pines Trucking is authorized to conduct the interstate transport of hazardous materials and, where required, has received state-specific intrastate transport authority from several states. The authorities allow for the transportation of hazardous materials, radioactive materials, and radioactive waste.
   
• Intrastate Authorities – Based on our operational regions, Southern Pines Trucking has intrastate authorities in numerous states.
   
• Security Plan – Southern Pines Trucking is in compliance with all current DOT regulations and requirements for implementing a security plan.
• Approved carrier for the Department of Energy.
